Threat to Sheila Dikshit serious, says Congress

NEW DELHI - The Congress Saturday described an anonymous call warning of threat to the life of Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit as a serious issue.

“It is a serious issue. The security agencies should take care of the threat,” Congress spokesman Shakeel Ahmed told IANS.

Dikshit’s security was stepped up after the police got an anonymous call stating her life was in danger.

Police officials said they got a call Thursday night that her life was in danger for the next 72 hours. The police are trying to trace the caller.
