Major fire in Mumbai factory

MUMBAI - A major fire broke out at a factory in south Mumbai Sunday, fire officials said.

The blaze was reported a little after 7 p.m. at the leather factory at Devidayal compound situated at Reay Road.

Eighteen fire engines and 10 water tankers were sent to battle the fire. The fire fighting operations are on, a fire official said.

No casualties have been reported so far. The cause of the fire is not yet known, the official added.
