NEW DELHI - A major fire broke out in a plastic scrap market in west Delhi’s Mundka area early Wednesday. No one was injured, an official said, adding that a fire had gutted a part of the same market three days ago.

The incident took place around 3.30 a.m.

“The blaze spread in the entire plastic scrap market near Phirni road. We immediately rushed 30 fire tenders and the flames have been doused,” a fire department official said.

The official added that police were investigating the cause of the fire.
