NEW DELHI - A sketch of the boy who delivered the parcel bomb which injured a 45-year-old businessman in his southeast Delhi home Monday is being prepared with the help of his relative Ijaz, who had received it, police Tuesday said.

The parcel bomb was received by Ijaz, a relative of Mohammad Uzair, 45, from an unknown person. Ijaz handed over the parcel to Uzair and it exploded as he was opening it. Uzair sustained injuries on his face and hands.

“A sketch is being prepared with Ijaz’s help. Ijaz, who received the parcel, can remember the face of the person who delivered it,” a senior police official said.

The boy is said to have disappeared immediately after he handed over the parcel to Ijaz.

Delhi Police spokesman Rajan Bhagat said: “Investigations are going on and the police are preparing a sketch as a part of that exercise only.”
