Reports: train derails in northern Italy
ROME — News reports say a train has derailed in northern Italy and left six people dead and several injured.
Sky Italia says there were six dead after Monday’s derailment near the city of Merano, about 300 kilometers (185 miles) north of Venice.
The cause of the accident was not immediately clear. Reports say the train possibly derailed after a landslide.
Rescuers were rushing to the scene.
