Earthquake rocks southcentral Alaska
ANCHORAGE, Alaska — A magnitude 4.6 earthquake has rattled southcentral Alaska, shaking buildings in Anchorage.
The Alaska Earthquake Information Center says it received no reports of the quake causing damage.
The temblor was recorded at 8:19 a.m. Wednesday. It was centered 35 miles northeast of Anchorage and 20 miles northwest of Palmer. The earthquake information center says the quake was 19 miles deep.
The West Coast and Alaska Tsunami Warning Center says the quake did not generate a tsunami.
