Amtrak service returning to normal in Northeast
PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Amtrak service to the Northeast is returning to normal.
Amtrak officials say they have resumed near full Northeast Regional and Acela Express service for Monday.
Service between New York and Boston had been curtailed because of flooded tracks in Rhode Island brought on by record-setting rain storms.
Most Northeast Regional and Acela trains will operate as scheduled.
