Two held for circulating fake currency

BHUBANESWAR - Two people were arrested Saturday in Orissa’s Keonjhar district for circulating fake currency, police said.
Bijaya Kumar Sahu, 40, and Rabindra Patra, 32, were nabbed when they were circulating counterfeit Rs.500 notes in Harichandanpur area of the district, district Superintendent of Police A.K. Singh told IANS.
“We have also seized 98 counterfeit currency notes of Rs.500 denomination from them,” he said.
Keonjhar is about 235 km from here.
