Four killed in Ghaziabad road accident

GHAZIABAD - Four labourers were killed and another critically injured when a truck ran over them in Ghaziabad, police said Wednesday.
A truck was coming at high speed from Mohan Nagar side and going towards Meerut. Some people were waiting at the Meerut Road T-point for a bus around 12.30 a.m. Tuesday night. The truck took a sharp curve and crushed them, police said.
Three people identified as Mukesh Kumar, Devendra Pal and Dinesh Chand were killed on the spot.
Two people were critically injured and taken to MMG Hospital. One of them died on way to hospital.
A case was registered against the absconding driver.
Those killed were casual workers in a private company named April Pvt. Ltd in Sector-58 in Noida and were returning home when the mishap occurred, police said.
