Moscow Twin Blasts in Metro : Killed 40

MOSCOW (GaeaTimes.com) — Moscow metro rail has been attacked by suicide bombers in the rush hours this morning. The twin explosions killed up to 40 people and left several injured.
The first explosion took place at the Lubyanka metro station in the center of the city, followed by a second blast at Park Kultury in the southwest of the city.
According to Moscow’s chief prosecutor, the explosions were carried out by suicide bombers wearing explosive belts.
14 people died in the wagon of the train and 11 on the platform — Irina Andrianova, a spokeswoman for Russia’s emergencies ministry said. At least 15 people were reported to have been killed in the second blast at Park Kultury.
Emergency services are called up soon after the explosions. The Russian government is fighting hard to prevent the separatists from further attacks.
No group has taken the responsibilities for the blasts yet, but the Chechen militants and other groups from Russia’s North Caucasus, are under suspicion.
