Three workers die after falling from high rise tower

PATNA - At least three workers died and half a dozen were seriously injured after they fell from an electricity supply tower in Patna’s Barh district, police said Friday.

Police sources said three workers died and half a dozen were seriously injured when an electricity tower, near the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC), collapsed. All the injured were admitted to a hospital.

“It took place when workers were busy on a high rise electricity tower,” a police officer said.

The accident created panic among the workers.
