Home ministry official leaves for ATM, goes missing

NEW DELHI - An under-secretary in the home ministry has gone missing since he left his west Delhi home Wednesday afternoon, police said.
K.V. Singh, under-secretary with the relief and rehabilitation section of the home ministry, went missing around noon, the police said quoting the missing person report his family members filed.
Singh lives in Vikaspuri area and left home to withdraw cash from an ATM.
He is slated to retire March 31. A complaint has been lodged with the Vikaspuri police station and a search has been launched to locate him, police said.
