Woman gangraped in Delhi

NEW DELHI - A 35-year-old woman was allegedly raped by three men in her house in Kanjhwala area of northwest Delhi Friday, police said. Two of the suspects have been arrested.
“The woman lives in the area along with her husband, who is a class four employee at the airport. She alleged that she was alone at her house when her neighbours Rohit, Rajender and Mithun barged into her house and raped her. She narrated the incident to her husband and they approached the police,” a police officer said.
Rohit and Rajender have been arrested while Mithun is still at large.
Meanwhile, in another incident that took place in same area, police have arrested Brij Mohan for allegedly kidnapping and raping a 14-year-old girl.
“Raashi, a resident of Karala, went missing after school. Her parents registered a missing complaint. Police found that she was last seen with Brij Mohan. Police traced his cellphone number and arrested him from the Karol Bagh area.
“Raashi’s medical examination confirmed that she was physically assaulted. Brij Mohan has been arrested for raping and kidnapping her,” the police officer added.
