Van accident at NYC church kills woman, injures 4

NEW YORK — A van has struck five people in the parking lot of a New York City church, killing one and injuring four.

Police Lt. John Grimpel says no criminality is suspected in Sunday’s accident at the Pyeong AHN Presbyterian Church in Brooklyn. He says 40-year-old Sung Won Cho died of her injuries at the scene.

The four people injured by the van have been taken to a hospital. Police say their injuries aren’t life-threatening.

Police haven’t released the identity of the 72-year-old driver or the four injured people.
