Shamu Killer Whale Tillikum Kills Sea World Trainer Dawn Brancheau

ORLANDO, USA, (GaeaTimes.com) Sea World Park of Orland witnessed the greatest tragedy when one of its most experienced trainer was killed by a killer whale of the famous Shamu Show. The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon after one of the Shamu show. The whale which dragged the trainer Dawn Brancheau to death was known in the park as Tillikum.
This whale has been involved in the death of two human beings before too as has been revealed by the police and the local media. At the Orange County Sheriff’s office, Jim Solomon told to the media that the trainer slipped into the tank and was then attacked by the whale. As has been reportedly told by him, Dawn Brancheau was standing at the “Whale holding area”. The head of the trainers of the Sea World Orlando, Chuck Tompkins said that Dawn Brancheau, the 40 year old trainer was pulled into the water by the whale, which then killed her. One of the witnesses has proclaimed to a media that the trainer was explaining to the visitors about the show when the whale came up and attacked the trainer and violently dragged her to death.
The Orange County Sheriff has sealed the place of accident for investigation. The Sea World Park Orlando officials are also cooperating with the police investigation. According to reports, the Homicide Investigation department will be investigating the death and try to find out the cause of such an accident. The general manager of the Park, Dan Brown said to the media that the Park has lost a member of its family. He described Dawn Brancheau as on of the most experienced trainers, according to reports.
