CHANDIGARH - Four ‘raagis’ (Sikh hymn singers) were killed Wednesday morning when their car rammed into a stationary truck near Punjab’s industrial town of Mandi Gobindgarh, 60 km from here.

Police officials said the victims died on the spot as their Indica car rammed into the truck which was parked outside a dhaba (eatery) along National Highway 1, between Mandi Gobindgarh and Khanna towns.

The hymn singers were returning to Zira town in Ferozepur district after performing at a religious ceremony in Jagadhri town of neighbouring Haryana.
