Child killed, five injured in Madhya Pradesh blast

BHOPAL - A child was killed and five other people were injured when a blast occurred in a firecracker factory in Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar district Sunday, police said.

“The accident occurred in the evening when there was a blast in a firecracker factory in the residential area in Gadha Kota area of the district. The cause of blast is yet to be known. One child was killed on the spot while five others have been admitted to district hospital,” police said.

The administration has started relief measures and debris caused due to the blast is being removed.
