Six killed as bus overturns in West Bengal

KOLKATA - Six people were killed and several others injured when a bus overturned in West Bengal’s Purulia district Monday, police said.

The driver lost control while overtaking a truck near Lalpur under Hura police station, District Superintendent of Police Rajesh Yadav told IANS.

The bus was going to Manbazar from Adra.

Several of the injured were still trapped in the bus and locals and police personnel were trying to rescue them, the official said.
