AIADMK MP attacked in Tamil Nadu

CHENNAI - AIADMK MP, O.S. Manian, was attacked by a group of people near Vedaranyam in Nagapattinam district Thursday night and admitted to a hospital, officials said.

Manian, MP from Mayiladuthurai constituency in Tamil Nadu, was attacked due to intra party rivalry, sources said.

He was attacked on way to attend the marriage of a party worker near Vedaranyam.

According to a hospital employee, Manian was admitted at around 9 p.m. and doctors are attending to him.
