Three crushed to death in Ghaziabad

GHAZIABAD - Three persons were killed and a child critically injured when a truck rammed into their motorcycle near the national highway.

Tejpal, his sister-in-law Sangeeta and mother-in-law, whose name could not be known, were crushed to death when the truck rammed into their motorcycle while they were on their way to a hospital to admit his ailing 10-month-old child.

The child was thrown away into a roadside ditch and sustained critical injuries.

The accident triggered anger among locals, who jammed traffic near the highway, police said.
