GROVE CITY, PENNSYLVANIA (GaeaTimes.com)- The Wendell August Forge, in Grove City, Pennsylvania, was almost completely destroyed in a fire that broke out in the historic factory sometime around 3 in the afternoon on Saturday. The actual cause of the fire has not yet been determined, but it is being speculated that it was possibly the ignition of a chemical spray that is used to manufacture the products, that started the blaze. An estimate of the damages incurred in the Wendell August Forge fire has not yet been made, but it is a no-brainer that the amount must be huge.

Thankfully, however, none of the employees or customers who were inside the factory when the Wendell August Forge fire broke out were killed or injured. It has been reported that every living being inside was able to escape unhurt, as per the reports of one of the spokespersons of the factory. The credit goes to a number of fire companies that reacted almost instantly to the fire alarm that had been sent up by the employees and fans of the wares of the forge, and also the neighbors, who could see the fence fire and smoke from miles away.

According to the president of Wendell August, Will Knecht, the forge intended to get back to business as soon as possible, that is, after a complete reconstruction of the place has taken place. It would mean starting from scratch, of course, considering that almost nothing of the building exists any more. Will Knecht assured that the Wendell August Forge fire did not mean that the company would not be doing business in that branch any more.
