BEIRUT, LEBANON (GaeaTimes.com)- The Ethiopian Airlines plane that crashed on the Lebanese coast last week had claimed the lives of several people. According to the reports of the official sources, the plane had crashed in the western side of Na’amaeh, which is a coastal village. Ghazi Aridi, the Public Works and Transportation Minister said that the submarines for searching the crash site had already left and are expected to reach the spot of the accident in few days. In a press conference, the honorable minister expressed his sympathy for the families of the victims and appreciated the works of the rescue team that had been sent to search for the victims.
The Ethiopian Airlines plane crash story indicates that the plane, which had crashed on January 25, 2010 was carrying around 90 passengers. It has been anticipated that none of the passengers had survived after the plane went up in flames. The rescue operations are still in progress and reports will be confirmed after the rescue team completes their task.
