Mexican drug cartel hires boy to cut victims’ genitals

Mexico City, Nov 15 (IANS/EFE) A 12-year-old boy has been hired by a drug cartel in Mexico and put in charge of cutting off the heads and genitals of his victims, a media report said.

The boy, known as “El Ponchis”, was detained recently by the army, but it later released him because he was a minor.

The boy reportedly works as a hired killer for the South Pacific drug cartel in Morelos state, the La Jornada newspaper reported.

Based on videos posted by the South Pacific cartel on Youtube, soldiers found Oct 24 a house belonging to the group in Jiutepec city, where they arrested six suspects.

The suspects confessed they were the authors of many executions and the minor was the “bloodiest hitman in the group, in charge of cutting off the heads and genitals of his victims”, the report said.
