Ramachandran to lead Indian team to disaster management meet

NEW DELHI - Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Mullappally Ramachandran will lead an Indian delegation to the Asian Ministerial Conference on Disaster Management to be held in Injon City in South Korea beginning Sunday.

The four-day meet will deliberate on the topic “Reducing disaster possibilities”, an official told IANS.

This is the fourth annual meet of the disaster management ministers of Asia. Ministers from the Asia-Pacific region will share their experiences in handling disasters, the official said.
