Three boys drown in Yamuna, two bodies recovered

AGRA - The bodies of two of the three boys who drowned in river Yamuna were recovered by divers early Sunday, police said.

Four youngsters of Sita Nagar in Etmauddaula area had gone to the Kabir Ghat on the river bank to play cricket Saturday evening, police said.

When three of them did not return late in the evening, a complaint was lodged with the police.

The fourth boy, Ajay, and his father Vishwanath told the police that the three boys had drowned in the river.

The police found the bodies of Ravi, 13, and Vishal, 12, but 12-year-old Vijendra’s body is yet to be found.
