The success of the rescue workers make the families laugh and cheer after a long time. They began chanting and shouted with joy.
Back on August 5, the Chilean miners got trapped as the gold and copper mine collapsed above them. Since the, one of the complex rescue attempts have been made in the mining history and have so far drilled down over 2,000 ft to free the men.
Relatives and friends of the miners have held candlelight vigils at the mine in the northern Atacama desert ever since the collapse and continue to wait anxiously as the rescue bid nears its completion.
