RANCHI - Coal-laden 28 wagons of a goods train derailed in Jharkhand’s Latehar district Friday morning, disrupting services of more than a dozen trains, a railway official said.
“The wagons jumped the track between Richugatta and Demo railway station. The railway services have been affected on both up and down lines,” Dhanbad railway division public relation officer Amrendra Das told IANS.
“It will take at least a day to resume normal services. Many trains’ routes have been diverted and services of a dozen trains have been affected. The Ranchi to New Delhi Garib Rath will be cancelled,” he said.
