Deputies: 4 hurt in blast at Ky. charcoal plant
BURNSIDE, Ky. — Authorities in southern Kentucky say an explosion at a charcoal plant has injured four people.
The Pulaski County sheriff’s office said the explosion occurred shortly before noon Friday at the Kingsford Charcoal Plant, just south of Burnside.
Debbie Price with the sheriff’s office said four people were injured. She did not know the extent of the injuries or how badly the plant was damaged.
