Conn. construction accident traps up to 3 people

NEW HAVEN, Conn. — A spokeswoman for the New Haven mayor’s office says rescuers are working to free as many as three people after a collapse at a construction site.

Spokeswoman Jessica Mayorga says she can’t confirm reports that a crane collapsed Monday morning at a building project. She says only that “some aspect” of the project collapsed.
