Yale construction accident traps and injures 4
NEW HAVEN, Conn. — The mayor’s office in New Haven, Conn., says four people were injured when a steel beam collapsed at a Yale University construction site.
Spokeswoman Jessica Mayorga says four people were trapped when the beam fell Monday morning at the planned air conditioning center.
Mayorga says three people were taken to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening. She didn’t have information on the fourth person’s injuries.
