Four killed as vehicles collide in Uttar Pradesh

LUCKNOW - Four people were charred to death while four received serious burn injuries when two vehicles caught fire after colliding with each other in Uttar Pradesh’s Jhansi district early Sunday, police said.
The accident took place in Barua Sagar area as a mini truck and a milk tanker collided head-on.
“Three men inside the mini truck and the driver of the milk tanker were killed on the spot, while four others received multiple burn injuries in the accident,” police inspector Udai Veer Singh told reporters in Jhansi, some 300 km from Lucknow.
“The four men injured are being treated in hospital. All of them are stated to be critical,” he added.
While three people killed in the accident are residents of Tikamgarh district in Madhya Pradesh, police haven’t yet been able to establish much about the fourth victim.
