Two arrested with fake passports at Lucknow airport

LUCKNOW - Two teenagers were arrested along with fake passports at the Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport (Amausi) here Thursday, police said.

Immigration officials at the airport held the two, as they were on their way to catch a Saudi Arabian Airlines flight to reach Dubai.

“While the two nabbed are 17 to 18-year-olds, the age mentioned on their passport is 27. More information is being gathered about the two youths,” Police Inspector Arun Kumar Dwivedi told reporters here.

Officials of the Local Intelligence Unit (LIU) are interrogating the two in assistance with the police.

“Preliminary investigations indicate the two were going to Dubai in connection with some job,” Dwivedi said.
