GURGAON - Any person driving under the influence of alcohol in this satellite town of the national capital will lose his or her licence if caught twice, an official said Wednesday.

“Anyone found driving under the influence of liquor for the first time, would be challaned (fined) and if caught for a second time, his or her driving licence will be cancelled,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Bharti Arora told reporters.

“This is a warning for vehicle drivers not to violate traffic rules. If anyone is found violating (other) rules for the third time, his or her driving licence will get cancelled,” he added.
