Allegedly part of a Nepal-based racket manufacturing and supplying of fake Indian currency notes, Dilshad, Nadeem and Suresh were nabbed late Monday from the Kotwali area in Etah, some 350 km from Lucknow.

“Preliminary investigations reveal the three have been working for a Nepal-based racket for the last six years,” Police Inspector Rakesh Awasthi told reporters here.

“We have learnt that that the three were primarily involved in supplying of fake notes in Delhi and eastern regions of Uttar Pradesh,” he added.

According to police, the three have provided vital clues to unearth the trade in other districts of Uttar Pradesh.
