CBI raids houses of two bank officials

RANCHI - The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Friday conducted raids on the houses of two Bank of India officials, who allegedly committed fraud in distribution of Kisan Vikas Patra amounting to nearly Rs.3.20 crore, in Karra area here and Bihar’s Darbhanga district, sources said.

The raids were conducted at houses of the bank’s Karra branch manager Patras Sanga and assistant manager D.N. Jha. Both officials have been suspended since some time.

Sanga and Jha were interrogated during raids by the CBI officials. According to the sources, the CBI conducted raid on the Karra branch of the bank and seized many incriminating documents.
