Four journalists arrested for blackmail

GHAZIABAD - Four local journalists have been arrested in Ghaziabad for extorting money from a railway engineer, whom they filmed having sex with two prostitutes, police said Tuesday.

The engineer was also arrested with the two call girls and their pimp.

According to Superintendent of Police (City) Avdesh Kumar Vijeta, the four journalists were apprehended by the Sihani Gate police Monday night.

“These journalists had gone to the hideout of a pimp in Nand Gram area where the railway engineer, Sanjay Tyagi was having sex with two call girls. The accused watched the whole act silently and filmed the entire episode with a video camera,” he said.

The four forced Tyagi to withdraw Rs.15,000 from his ATM and then asked him for a cheque of Rs.30,000. In the meantime, a police team raided the spot and arrested those present at the scene.
