LONDON - The body of a British woman has been found inside a freezer at a pub where she used to work.

The remains of 29-year-old Rebecca Thorpe, who worked at the Compasses Inn in Snettisham in Norfolk county, around 190 km from London, was found in a freezer in an out-building at the pub.

Her boyfriend, Michael Tucker, 49, who runs the inn, has been charged with the murder, but he has denied killing his girlfriend, Sky News reported Monday.

A post-mortem found she died from a gunshot wound to the head.

Tucker entered a not guilty plea at a hearing at the Norwich Crown Court. His trial will begin in December.
