Derek Underwood Died in a Car Accident

Iowa (Gaeatimes.com) — Derek Underwood died in a car accident in Council Buffs, Iowa on Sunday morning. He along with Zachary Mendoza got killed in a car crash near the Mall of Bluffs. Dustin Congdon, the other teenager with them suffered minor injuries.

An witness, Ron Mahoney says that the sound he heard was like a thunder. When he first reached the spot, he saw the car turned on its side, wrapped around the power pole. The accident was so severe that rescuer had to cut through the car to reach the victims.

Police of Council Bluffs, reported that both of the victims died on spot. They had to jack the car and get the doors opened. Investigation regarding the accident is still going on.
