Man kills father, aunt in Haryana village

ROHTAK - A 25-year-old man allegedly shot dead his father and aunt over an old dispute in this Haryana district Sunday, police said.
According to police, the deceased were identified as Rajinder Singh, 50, and Shakuntala, 35.
The incident took place around 11 a.m. at Ismaila village, police said.
“Rajinder’s son Jasbir Singh alias Jassa, along with his two friends, came on a motorcycle and started firing at his father, who was sitting in his shop. Then they went to his house and shot dead his aunt Shakuntala and fled,” said a police official here Sunday.
The victims’ bodies were sent to the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS) here for autopsy, police said.
Police have registered a case against Jasbir and his two accomplices - Manjeet Singh and Vicky.
District police chief Satish Balan said: “We have constituted special teams to nab the miscreants. All the accused are residents of Ismaila village. From the preliminary investigation, it seems that there was some old dispute that led to this incident.”
