Rs.15 lakh looted from Bengal bank

KOLKATA - Six dacoits posing as customers looted Rs.15 lakh at gunpoint from the Anandapur branch of the Bank of Baroda in West Bengal’s North 24 Parganas district Friday.

The dacoits also snatched away some mobile phones from bank customers before fleeing in a vehicle parked outside.

An investigation into the matter has been initiated and raids are being conducted in the areas, police said.
