7.3-magnitude quake hits Philippines

NEW YORK - A strong earthquake of 7.3 magnitude struck Moro Gulf, Mindanao, Philippines Saturday morning, the US Geological Survey reported on its website.

According to the USGS, the epicentre of the quake is 105 km away from Cotabato, Mindanao and 915 km away from the capital Manila, Xinhua reported.
