Man held for killing lover

NEW DELHI - A 23-year-old man has been arrested in north Delhi for brutally murdering a woman with whom he had an illicit relationship, police said Thursday.
Tarun was arrested from Rohini West Metro station Wednesday for killing 32-year-old Radha Kapoor with whom he had an illicit relationship.
The body of Radha, wife of Kamal Kapoor, was recovered from the bushes in a park in Shastri Nagar Wednesday. Her face was disfigured.
According to Station House Officer of Prashant Vihar Police Station Sudhir Kumar, the woman was strangled to death and her face was smashed later. Injuries and bruises were also spotted all over her body.
“We have discovered that Tarun who used to work with the deceased in a company had an extra martial affair with her. He wanted her to leave her family and marry him. When she rejected the proposal, Tarun killed her,” Kumar said.
