Six killed in shootings in Pakistan

KARACHI - At least six people were killed and several injured in different shooting incidents in Pakistan’s southern port city of Karachi, DawnNews reported Wednesday.

Four people were shot dead late Tuesday in the city’s New Karachi area when two groups clashed, reportedly over a land dispute. The deceased were said to be members of the ruling Pakistan People’s Party.

Two others were killed in separate firings in Karachi’s Gulistan-i-Jauhar and Ayub Goth areas.
