Ohio sauerkraut factory collapse traps workers
FREMONT, Ohio — Authorities say some workers might be trapped after a sauerkraut factory collapsed in northern Ohio.
Officials say at least part of the roof collapsed at the factory in Fremont. Sandusky County Emergency Management Agency Director Chris Mock says there are some injuries.
It’s not clear how many are injured or how seriously they might be hurt.
The collapse happened about 40 miles southeast of Toledo at the Fremont Co., which makes sauerkraut and bottles ketchup and barbecue sauce.
