12 killed by gunmen in Pakistan

KARACHI - At least 12 people were killed by unknown gunmen overnight in Pakistan’s Karachi city, a media report said Sunday.

Assailants gunned down 12 people including a security guard in different parts of the city, DawnNews reported.

Targeted killings in Karachi take place almost every day over the past two months. Earlier last week, three policemen were killed while on their way to attend a police party.
