GHAZIABAD - Police in Ghaziabad Monday arrested three men for allegedly murdering a man their sister was having an affair with.

Police arrested Sunil, Mahesh and Naresh - all of Badhora Sihani area for killing Sonu, 22, who was found hanging from a mango tree in the village Thursday.

The three had first murdered Sonu and then hanged him from the tree to make it appear a suicide, police said.

Superintendent of Police (Rural) M.M. Beig said: “A case was registered at Dhaulana police station on the complaint of Sonu’s paternal uncle Fakir Chand against four people - Sunil, Mahesh, Naresh and Ravi. While first three have been arrested, Ravi is still absconding.”

Sunil was the girl’s brother while Mahesh and Naresh were cousins.
