Private tutor rapes minor student

KOLKATA - A private tutor in West Bengal’s Malda district allegedly raped his girl student and uploaded her nude clips on the Internet. A police complaint has been lodged by the girl’s family.
Sanjib Pal, 24, allegedly raped the class seven student when she came to his house for tuitions earlier this week at Gajole. He also took nide photos of her and uploaded them on the internet.
When the girl’s father got to know about the nude clips Wednesday night, he made detailed inquiries from her, and on learning about the rape, lodged a police complaint against the private tutor.
“A complaint has been lodged by girl’s family at the Gajole police station. We have started the investigation,” Malda Superintendent of Police Bhuvan Mondal said.
Pal was beaten up by the girl’s family members, but when the police went to his house later, they found he had fled.
