Two killed in bomb blast in Bihar

PATNA - Two people, including a minor boy, were killed when explosives kept in a dustbin near a hospital here went off Wednesday, police said.

A garbage collector’s son noticed an unusual package in the dustbin near the Nalanda Medical College and Hospital and asked his father to take a look.

“The moment they came near the dustbin, the bomb exploded,” a police official said.

The man was killed instantly. His son and another boy were critically injured. The garbage collector’s son later succumbed to his injuries, police said.
