One killed in Bihar blast

PATNA - A man was killed and two children were seriously injured in a blast in a dustbin at the Nalanda Medical College and Hospital here Wednesday, police said.

The man’s son, who collected garbage, spotted something unusual in the dustbin and asked his father to take a look, a police official said. “The moment they neared the dustbin, a bomb exploded.”

The man was killed instantly. His son and another boy in the vicinity were critically injured, police said.
