Flagstaff Wildfire Investigated By Police

FLAGSTAFF (GaeaTimes.com)- The cops have detained a man in their custody while they investigate the source of Flagstaff wildfire. The cops are of the opinion that the wildfire which engulfed a total jungle area of 600 acres in Flagstaff is the work of a local individual. However, the police have not yet called the man to be a suspect and have not filed any charges against him.
After the Flagstaff wildfire was reported on Saturday afternoon, the local authorities had called for the helicopters and the air tankers to aid the fire fighters on the ground trying to bring down the level of the flames. It was said that the Flagstaff wildfire sprang up in huge flames up to 10 feet in height. After hours of struggle, the firefighters managed to bring down the level of the flames down to 3-4 feet. Although the fire has been extinguished over a major part of Flagstaff jungle, the fire fighters told the media that there are still some places where the flames are high. The fire fighters also said that the wind which is blowing real fast in Flagstaff which can spread the fire in the nearby areas.
Major ramps in Interstate 40 which were locked down following the Flagstaff fire was reopened on Sunday by the local authorities. The local authorities of Flagstaff said that one of the major trees of the forest, Ponderosa Pine has been heavily affected by the fire. The police said that they shall continue their investigation and plans to question more people on this. However, they are not yet ready to call anyone a suspect on the case.
